Starting School at Richard Wakefield

Welcome to Richard Wakefield CofE Primary Academy

We're thrilled that your child will be joining our Reception class this September, and we want to extend a warm welcome to your whole family.

Starting school marks a significant milestone in your child's life, and we completely understand that this transition can bring mixed emotions for parents and carers. It's natural to have questions  about how your child will settle into their new environment and begin their learning adventure with us.

Our aim is simple: we want every child to arrive on their first day feeling secure, enthusiastic and eager to learn. We recognise that you'll want to support your child in the best way possible during these important weeks and months ahead, and we're here to guide you through that process. You don't need to navigate this journey alone – we're your partners every step of the way.
